How Social Media Turned AES Into a Must-Attend Aesthetics Event

In March 2023, the Aesthetic Extender Symposium (AES) approached us with a clear goal: turn their social media presence into a powerhouse that would skyrocket event attendance, attract high-profile sponsors, and get exhibitors lining up. The challenge? The event was just months away.

But we don’t shy away from a challenge. Armed with AES’s 2022 performance stats as a benchmark, we dove right in and crafted a strategy that was bold, targeted, and results-driven.

2022 AES Stats:

  • 88 attendees

  • 0 workshop registrations

  • 24 exhibitors/sponsors

2023? A game-changer.

By the time the August 2023 event came around, we had transformed AES’s presence—and the numbers proved it:

  • 625 attendees (up from 135)

  • 9 workshop registrants (2 sold out)

  • 41 exhibitors/sponsors, including major players like Allergan, Galderma, and Solta Medical

But wait—2024 took it to a whole new level.

  • 725 healthcare professionals, plus an additional 475 sponsor attendees—totaling 1,200 event-goers

  • 4 workshops sold out, along with 2 cadaver lab sessions

  • 75 exhibitors/sponsors, a major leap from 2022

  • 121,189 views, 582 new followers, and a serious boost in external link taps and profile visits during the 4-day event

And the social stats? Mind-blowing.

From October 2023 to October 2024, we saw a 40% growth in new followers and over 500,000 impressions. Those numbers don’t lie.

This isn’t just about social media. It’s about creating a buzz, building a community, and positioning AES as the only event that matters in the aesthetics space.

AES’s rise as a must-attend event is a testament to the power of strategic social media marketing, tailored content, and consistent engagement.

We’re pumped for 2025 and beyond, and we’ll continue refining and elevating AES’s digital presence to keep that momentum going strong.
